what is katamari damacy?
katamari damacy is a game released in 2004 where you play as this little green thing 
and roll up the world!
im not kidding thats basically the whole game

throughout the game you have to roll over things and make your katamari bigger!
start small thumbtacks, dice, and mice! then get more ambitious people, houses, the clouds, the pyramids!!!!
most of the game focuses on getting bigger but there are other objectives aswell! in We ♥ Katamari my favorite you get to roll to keep a fire going, roll 1000 cranes, and even roll a sumo. those are just a few examples

the little green thing you play as is actually The Prince! and his dad is the King of All Cosmos 
the king isnt that great at his job,..
one night the king got drunk and destroyed all the stars!!! instead of doing anything himself he orders his son to roll up objects in the katamari so the king can pop them into the sky before anyone notices the stars are missing
thats the story of the first game
basically drunk father gets little son to fix all of his problems
this is the most weirdest and charming game i have ever played! its full of bright colors, good music, and silly humor
