he shares a name with the hanamaru symbol which signifies not only a correct answer but also a very good one!
his skills include,, doing tricks with balls,.! real
hana-maru gets mistaken for a girl often due to his cute appearance and high pitched voice, he is also shown to sometimes wear feminine clothes!

badtz-maru and hana-maru are best friends although badtz-maru likes to deny that statement
badtz-maru often trys to be mean and push hana-maru away but this cute seal simply doesnt care!
most of badtz-marus attempts to be mean to hana-maru usually backfire somehow!
even with this dynamic it is obvious that the 2 still care for eachother

despite the conflecting personalities these 2 remain best friends and are always seen together
